1994 Vesuvio Vintage Port

Post by Axel P »

Vesuvio 94 VP (30 mins): A slight bit lighter than Dows and Grahams. In the nose you find a medicine touch and many spices and herbs, sweet. Aftertaste lasts longer than on the Dows. Best Vesuvio from my point of view. As the Dows it will get better with more decanting time.

The whole article is in the reviews section.

This is one I'd love to try. Their reputaton is growing, and from the reviews I've read, this seems to be their best year yet. I'm sure I'll catch up with it one day, and see for myself.
I'd also want to be able to 'test' various decanting times, to try to catch it in its prime. Only 13 years old though, so no rush.
