Perhaps out shown by it's rivalry, I actually like this port compared to my fellow tasters and had this rated higher then the taylors.

It was spirity up front on the nose with some red fruit I couldn't identify.

On the mouth it was lush red and fruity, but definitely lacking some complexity as the dark red fruit (cran/blueberry mix perhaps?) never opened up to any secondary flavors.

The spirits showed on the finish followed with some bitter root (ginseng) flavor.

Still had a glass left.

I'll reaffirm that this was outshown by the competition that night.

It's developed now a nice cranberry nose backed by some minty brown sugar.

Still lush, with red fruit but still very spirity. It finishes bitter again.

Don't think this will get any better but it looks like it might hold this flavor for a while.
