Quinta de Roriz 1995: mature red, medium translucency. Nose very faint, with mint. Initial impression of taste was ‟rough not liked”. On subsequent tastes the roughness faded in and out, but nonetheless was enough to displease me. MW found ‟maple syrup” and ‟artificial sugars”.

Does any of you have an idea what the Rorizes on the market are, i.e. what vintages?

Cranberries, fruit, and a candy-cane like mint in the subdued nose. I'm also getting a distinct "Red Bean" aroma. In the mouth, there's plenty of fruit, but also that candy cane, some molasses (tbird says maple syrup), and milk chocolate. "too leafy" was one of my notes. It has a short tail, and i scored it 83.

There is also a 1991, if I'm not mistaken. I believe I even drank it one day. It wasn't good enough to remember exactly though.
