Served in a restaurant on the banks of the Douro opposite Qd Vesuvio in Oct 06 - accompanied by the drums and bagpipes of a local treading crew after a long harvest and Kid in the Oven for dinner
Dark red/brown with a spirity nose. Chocolate and mint are both present but are overpowered by intense heat. Once the heat had faded it left a nice long finish.
