2003 Quinta de Roriz

Deep opaque centre, fading to red on the rim. Very dense, concentrated nose. Blackcurrants predominant. Maybe a little mint? In the mouth, an immediate touch of sugar, then strong blackcurrants, followed by heavy tannins. This feels like an old-style classic Vintage Port, a bit Dow-like, which requires a very long time to mature.
