Tasted from samples provided in the Vintage Wine and Port/Big Fortified Tasting at-home Quevedo white port session.
Tasted from a cask sample that Oscar kindly included in the tasting pack. The nose is rather perfumed, with Parma Violets and redcurrants. More sweet, perfumed Parma Violets on the palate, alongside red fruits. Pepper spice on the mid palate with liquorice and an enjoyable finish with the tannins being softer and less aggressive than the 2017. Drinkable now, which seems like madness.
