Rozès 2009 LBV, unfiltered, bought from Intermarché in Quettehou, Normandy, for €23.90. At Decant + 30 mins. Dark dark red, 90% opaque. Nose of intense red grape, slight plum behind. Palate starts dry with that red grape, and some black pepper; mid is drier; and late showing a spicy acidity. Middle weight; great length. This is proper Port, far too young. Drunk 20th August 2020, in France.
Far better than the Rozès 2011 LBV tasted five days later.
