Very fresh smell, full of fruit on the nose.
In the mouth initially lots of soft and lovely fruit - blackberries, raspberries, cherries, then dry and green stems as the tannins fill the mouth. Lightly spiced hints of star anise and liquorice precede the acidity which follows, which needs more time to integrate. Medium length finish.
