24 hour decant.
90% opaque, red brown rim. Pronounced note of agen prunes on the nose. Congruent palate, with additional notes of brambles. Velvety texture with good balance of fruit and acidity. Still pretty warm on the finish. Very nice drinking. On this showing, just about ready but showing no signs of decay. Will still be good (and possibly better) in 10, even 20, years. I ought to acquire more of this wine.
