Dark, very powerful and concentrated from the start, this is a huge, superb port. Initially very little on the nose, but in the mouth this is packed full of blackberries and blackcurrants, with liquorice, spice, and hints of mint and leather. With strong firm tannins this is a full, complex port with a very, very long finish; Sandeman have produced another superb vintage port in 2018, which I expect will greatly reward the most patient cellaring.
