70% rose coloured, 30% orange rim.
A gentle note of sage, and rose hip sweetness, on the nose. Pronounced orange marmalade on the mid palate. Gently warming sweet orange finish.
Very pleasant wine. I am not sure this was ever a really powerful port but it is, on the evidence of this bottle, now sauntering down from its plateau.
Decanted 20 hours (but kept sealed for sixteen of those hours in the 'fridge). Consumed 07/04/20.
