A bottle that was not quite right but that still held a little pleasure. Oporto bottled, good level, cork came out cleanly. Very strong burnt rubber tang on the nose, sufficient to make me shy away from the decanter other than for occasional test sampling purposes, for the first couple of days. Left to see if it would blow off and it did in part. Underneath the rubber bands there was a full, fruity, and still powerful port, very Graham, with strawberries on the palate and red liquorice on the finish.
