1963 Cockburn
An example with high fill, English - bottled by Peatling and Cawdron. Still a rich ruby red, 60% opaque. A hint of ripe black fruit on the nose promised much but, alas, the wine was utterly spoiled by VA- possibly the worst-affected bottle of port I have ever opened; spit-it-out-into-the-fireplace bad. Opened, and after re-tasting over a four hour period to see if it had somehow miraculously cured itself, disposed of on 4/10/19.
