1994 Croft
Brick red and opaque from the fine sediment in the wine. A little baked fruit on the nose, but surprisingly restrained. Similarly restrained on the palate with little showing on entry. The mid-palate is better and with work reveals sweet fruit and dry tannins that combine well on the lingering finish. This is far more disjointed than other recent bottles and needs more time, but has started to pull itself together. 86 14-Mar-19
