2010 Dow Senhora da Ribeira

Post by DRT »

The nose is lovely - filled with violets and raspberry. Surprisingly approachable, plummy and extremely smooth on the palate. Lots of tannic dryness at the end. Very, very nice now but will be better in 20 years.

+48 hours:

The nose is very soft, mostly of vanilla. It is extremely easy drinking but has lost its grip and complexity.

Note to self: drink on the night of opening.
