At 21 years from the bottling date this is just of age. I liked this in the past. On looking at my notes this seems to have pulled itself together. It does not seem to have that jammy, slurred quality to the fruit previously noted, a bit more elegant and sustained. This has tightened up nicely with the tannins giving something to scratch against.

I am never quite sure how to rate crusted port, it always seems such ridiculously good value (this was about£12). I would guess this will last and matches many vintage ports I have drunk. 88.
