Available by the glass or bottle from the Port Gaverne Hotel in North Cornwall.
Sweet slightly herby fruit on the nose. Lots of sweet strawberry jam on the palate with tannins that are almost fully integrated. Modest levels of acidity means this particular wine lacks the usual elegance of Warre. Some brown sugar on the aftertaste, and a good finish of barley sugar and candied dates. Not a great bottle. 83/100. Drunk 22-Oct-18.
