Bottled 2017. Much more red in the colour of this port than the two older coheitas shown alongside. Lots of heat on the nose, mixed in with figs and almonds. Hollow flavoured entry but smooth texture, followed by delicious toffee apples and caramel over a core of fragrant acidity. A nice aftertaste dominated by caramel but with a cleansing apple acidity. A good finish to this long and flavoursome port, even if it is a little too sticky. 88/100. 05-Dec-17. Decanted 2 hours.
