NV Quinta do Sagrado Fine Ruby

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

From Nova Quinta do Sagrado but bottled under the Quinta do Sagrado label. Deep red with a brick rim. Fresh on the nose with a hint of hot elastic. Nice impact, soft baked fruit that is easy to drink but with a little soft tannin on the palate. The hot elastic bands show up again on the finish, which is otherwise full of gentle and lingering cherry. This would be a good choice for a flavoursome ruby and would cellar for 2-5 years. 86/100. 06-Nov-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
