2015 Cockburn

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Mid-red colour with a purple edge. A nice nose of ripe fruit smelling very fresh. Ripe purple fruit on the palate, lively and fragrant damsons and bramble fruit with powerful elegant acidity. The tannins are very fine and almost hidden by the fruit. This is very easy to drink young. 89-91/100. 06-Nov-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
