Not sure if this was a relatively recent ex-cellars bottle or not. Slightly protruding cork which caused some - eventually unwarranted - concern. Opened with friends on a quiet Sunday evening, with figs and a good cheddar.

Roughly 6 hour decant. Still fairly opaque, although a little bricking around the edges. Nose of plums and perhaps cherries.

Magnificent. Soft, smooth entry, then rich, round, full, spicy, tannic, figgy, plummy, tremendous length. It seems likely to have more years left than I have.
