Opened this evening, because... why not! Dark (80% opaque), light nose of candy and vanilla. I *think* my first tasting of this wine.
D+2h : Very (very!) sweet; seems much sweeter than Graham '70. Very full; clearly a well-kept bottle, with serious backbone - a la the best kept F70 - though not the same flavour or complexity. A mixture of black cherries, raisins and licorice on the palate, but overlaid with... lots of icing sugar? The backbone does balance some of the sweetness, though still a touch sweet for me, especially on the (long) aftertaste.

Rating: vg (might be excellent, were it less sweet)
