1909 Ramos Pinto Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A bottle drawn from the blending stocks in cask.

Dark brown colour in the centre, olive green on the rim and where the ports sticks to the glass. An attractive nose of fragrant orange and sweet dates. Thick and sweet on the palate with lots of molasses. This lacks a little acidity but is packed full of flavour. Not Rated. 23-Jun-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
