1900 Ramos Pinto Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A bottle drawn from the blending stocks in cask.

Dark brown colour. Chocolate on the lively nose. Thick texture with lots of flavour and still some tannins. Acidity is hidden under volumes of sugar. Oranges and lemons on the aftertaste - but so much sugar on the persistent finish. Not Rated. 23-Jun-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
