1927 Ramos Pinto LBV

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 1932. Deep golden brown colour, 20% opaque. Soft and warm on the nose, showing umami and gentle golden syrup. Fresh on the palate, poised and elegant with light caramel flavours flavoured with delicate flower perfume. Beautifully poised with fresh cleansing acidity. Elegant and beautiful, a really wonderful port. 95/100. 23-Jun-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Can I brag about this one? Cause I rarely guess a vintage correctly when served a Port blind.
