This bottle was the single varietal Tinta Roriz.
Light brown colour, lightly pigmented. Little showing on the nose. Light entry, sweet and with a lovely licorice on the mid-palate. Better levels of acidity than the previous two varietals (Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca) but still not enough to give a balanced port on its own. Gentle tannic grip shows on the finish. Not Rated. 23-Jun-17. Decanted 5½ hours.
