NV Ferreira Tawny 10YO (bottled 2017)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Drunk at the Ferreira Lodge. Bottled 2017. Brick red in colour, 20% opaque. Toffee apples on the nose, soft and sweet. Gentle red apple acidity shows on the entry with the acidity levels building up on the mid-palate, supporting gentle flavours of rhubarb and dates. A lovely aftertaste and a nice finish with a good length of burnt sugar. 87/100. 22-Jun-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
