Drunk at the Factory House on the occasion of The Port Forum's 10th Anniversary dinner.
Little showing on the nose, a touch of VA and nothing else. Dry entry, a surprising amount of dry tannins and a mouthfeel that is hollow, dried out and tired. Dry and chewy aftertaste and a finish that is surprisingly pleasant given all that leads up to it; a finish which grows and gets really big – but is the only redeeming feature of this port. 86/100. 21-Jun-17. Decanted 3½ hours.
