Drunk at the Factory House on the occasion of The Port Forum's 10th Anniversary dinner. Sourced from the Factory House cellar.

Dark bruised fruit nose, dominated by plums giving a rich and opulent impression in the glass. Sweet and rich entry with lots of fine grained and toasted ripe tannins keeping the port balanced and full of elegance yet with substantial power. Deep, concentrated and powerful with a great texture. This is a superb port. 96/100. 21-Jun-17. Decanted 3½ hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
