NV Marks and Spencer Tawny 10YO

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

From Quinta & Vineyard Bottlers. Brick red colour, looking like a tawny reserve. Sweet rose perfume on the nose. Sweet in the mouth, a little hollow at first but develops nicely to show some fruit and some tannic structure on the late palate. Sweet, gentle candied fruit on the good length finish. Adequate without being exciting and there are other 10 year old tawnies which are better but around the same price. 84/100. 24-May-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
