2011 Fonseca LBV

Bottled unfiltered in 2016. Deep red in colour with a wide rim. A gentle nose of sour fruit. The slightly sour fruit appears amidst a big dose of tannins when the first sip is taken. This has mid-weight fruit and heavy-weight tannins that combine to give a nice chewiness to the finish. 83/100. 24-May-17.

It's not bad, is it?

Would you mind if I split your tasting note apart from mine? The only reason I'd like to is that your note is based on a different bottle from the one that mine is based on. If we show it as two separate posts on the same wine, it shows up in the index as a second entry for that wine.
