20% opacity, red brown, very slightly cloudy. Soft smooth entry, lively in the mouth, very nice gentle acidity, long aftertaste of citrus. I guessed GM67. When Charles revealed that CPR II was the same port from a magnum, I was pleased that I at least managed to guess the same wine for that, even if it was the wrong wine!

From magnum, with this bottle having been stored in a refrigerator once decanted. Evolved and light red in colour, 30% opaque. Hollow nose, showing very little Some vigorous swirling releases a little fruit. Soft and light on the palate with little fruit at first but nice rose hip flavours develop over the palate. Air draws out sweet and delicate fruit which really builds up to great levels on the late palate, with herbs and raspberry fruit. Oddly unbalanced on the palate but comes with a dry but fragrant sweet rasberry finish. Served blind this was guessed to be Sandeman 1970. 87/100. 09-Aug-17. Decanted 12 hours.

RV77, red 40% opaque. Sweetness and a hint of acetone.
