Deep red with a medium rim, soft red fruit on the nose. Balanced on entry, dry and soft tannins mix with the dusty cherry fruit. Fairly simple and straightforward on the palate - but nicely done; delicious and fruity. There is some heat on the aftertaste before a soft red fruit finish balanced by a very pleasant dryness. Served blind this was guessed to be Fonseca 2004 LBV. 87/100.

W94 LBV. Dark dark red, 90% opaque. Palate very dark-fruited, smooth, and full.
