D67. From the personal cellar of Charles Symington (thank you—doff hat). Red, 30% opaque. Weird palate. Lots of candy. Fascinating, but absolutely not in the style of Dow, nor great. The candy just overwhelmingly what there was. PW said “treacle toffee”, which wasn’t my perception of it.

D67 - Thank you Mr. Charles Symington !
Eye: medium ruby red, cloudy, glycerine
Nose: Elegant , vanilla, no alcohol, bit oxidate
Mouth: medium body, low tannins, medium finish with a note of iron in aftertaste
Score: 90 ... Good

30% opacity, brown-red, yellow rim. Caramel and vanilla on the nose. Syrupy mouthfeel, mild acidity, sweetness along the palate. Soft sweet caramels with some tobacco hints. Body showing some hints of flabbiness.

A real treat to be able to taste this rarity - many thanks to Charles S.
