NV Graham Six Grapes River Quintas

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2017. Youthful red colour with a narrow rim; young and vibrant on the nose full of aggressive blackcurrant. Sweet and balanced on entry with floral blackcurrant, lots of fruit and a touch of dusty tannin. This is lovely, but very youthful and might well be better when softened with a little age - although the Symingtons are very clear that this is not a wine intended to be aged! 90/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
