2002 Warre Cavadinha

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Brick red colour with a medium rim. Mature, slightly baked fruit on the nose. Sweet entry with soft vanilla and bramble jelly on the palate; soft tannins lurk on the aftertaste before a surprisingly big finish full of cracked pepper and bramble fruit. This is a lovely port, drinking nicely today. 91/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
