1985 Fonseca
Deeply coloured, dark red with little bricking but no purple; opaque. Gentle nose of sour cherry and dust, pleasant enough but rather faint. On the palate this brings sharp acidity backing the cherry flavour. Faint dry tannins show on the mid-palate but the overall impression is of a very acidic port with a lot of depth and power. The acidity briefly flares again on the aftertaste before the long black chocolate and cracked pepper infused black cherry finish takes hold and stays in the mouth for over a minute. From the flavour profile I would guess this bottle has been in the decanter for a couple of days, but it is still very enjoyable. 89/100. Drunk 23-Feb-17.

My Grandad has a bottle of this and we had a glass. Very nice.
