NV Quinta do Noval White (Dry White)
Viscous appearance, virtually colourless. Soapy nose that is not attractive. The soapiness carries through onto the palate, covering some kiwi fruit and melon but there is little flavour to this wine. Air helps to some extent and does allow a little more of the fruit to develop. However, the finish is long and flavoursome and surprisingly pleasant. On the whole, this is not a white port I would recommend to drink unmixed. 75/100. Drunk 13-Feb-17.
