S55. Dark red, 60% opaque. Palate big and long, with gentle heat in the middle, and indeterminate red fruit throughout. Lovely fully mature Port.
Re: 1955 Sandeman
30% opacity, mature red, amber rim. Nose, caramels, with a slight sharpness. Lovely smooth, syrupy structure, gentle heat builds, Super sweetness, great balance, huge long aftertaste, oranges, citrus notes.

Re: 1955 Sandeman
Ex-cellars. Deep mature brick-red colour; 70% opaque. Nosing of sweet red fruit with an interesting gentle wood smoke hint. Rounded and with a thick texture on the palate; dusty with hints of gentle tannins hiding in the impressively fruity palate. There is a great freshness to the raspberry fruit. The sweet raspberries burst into song on the aftertaste and lead to a sticky red jelly baby finish. Very, very impressive. 94/100. Drunk 06-Apr-17. Decanted 3 hours.
