A bottle bought from a supermarket at Christmas and given to me as a Christmas present by my mother. My half bottle of Taylor 2010 LBV has run out and I needed something else to drink. This was on hand.
Softly fruity on the nose, the palate follows on from this with sweet fruit and pleasant soft structure - tannins, but not too much; acidity, but not too much; sweet fruit, but not too much. It's a very well put together wine that is enjoyable to drink and would make a superb base for a port reduction sauce. 86/100. Drunk 07-Jan-2017. Decanted 1 hour.
