1963 Morgan

Warm red appearance, fine colour; 50% opaque. A lovely fragrance of nutmeg and Christmas spices. Smooth on the palate with more nutmeg and generous doses of cocktail cherry. Medium bodied palate with modest acidity and hints of tannins. Medium length finish. Overall this is a pleasant and very enjoyable port. 89/100. Opened 24-Dec-16. Decanted 48 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
