2000 Taylor

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Medium red colour having lost all its purple, opaque. Vibrant nose, full of fruit and crushed leaves. A very nice smooth satin texture on the palate with the flavours initially slightly restrained. Lots of fruit and lots of tannins combine to give a great mouthful - and the late palate is just huge! A quick flash of heat on swallowing leads to a long and very big finish. 92/100.

Drunk at the Berry Brothers Port Walk on 24 Nov 2016.
