2000 Calem Colheita (bottled 2016)

Bottled 2016. Rust red colour, 10% opaque. Colheita style, slightly oxidised nose showing very little. Sweet on the palate, rounded and soft, full of sweet treacle and golden sultanas. Very full on the palate; sweet but balanced by the acidity. A long and lingering burnt sugar finish. 88/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
