Rosehip red in colour, faded at the rim, but a nice clear bright colour. Strangely this is the same vintage as 'The Breakfast Club' which I am watching. Molly Ringwold has just screamed 'No, I never did it!', which seems to capture this wine. Or is it more Ally Sheedy?
Anyway, a rather indistinct nose, dusty with some fruit. A very mobile palate, it is sweet in the mouth, then the sweetness folds in on itself and it becomes dry and tart. Not a great port, but I do like it. Rather like a blowsy version of their 77.
