11 x various bottles of Vintage Port for Sale

Post by louisecr19 »

We have 11 x bottles of Vintage Port with varying labels including:

Fonseca, Warres, Dow, Grahams Malvedos, Porto Santos Junior, Croft and Gould Campbell. Dates of the Port range primarily from 1963-1975 then two others dated 1980 and 2001.

My husband was given a bottle every year from birth (1971) until he was 11 and these have been kept in his parent's cellar until the end of last year. They are currently at home with us now.

As we are not Port drinkers we would love these to go to a good home to someone who could fully appreciate the pleasure of Port!! Therefore we would like to sell.

If you are interested, please contact me. We are based in Buckinghamshire, near Windsor.

Thank you.

Would you be able to provide us with a list of the bottles that you are offering for sale please - we would probably be delighted to help out.

Definitely interested in some of these: I see a 72 that I've not come across before (my birth year and a notoriously thin year for port) and some other possibly good things.

Thank you for the response and interest. We would prefer to sell them all at once if at all possible or at least the majority. We are open to suggestions though. Which other ones were you interested in?

Fair enough if you'd prefer to sell them as one lot; I think I was only really looking at the 72 and the three bottles from the 60s, possibly the Croft 70 also.
