Port to sell? Excellent! Please post here, with details of what you have, how stored, and where in the world it is. Please start by reading our ‘Standard advice to would-be vendors' and ‘A note to wine merchants’.

2 cases of 1994 Grahams vintage port and 2 cases of Dows vintage port for sale

Post by deadeyeddoris »

Hi All

I have the above port for sale. Purchased in 1997 from Wilkinson Vintners, London, and stored in my cellar until 2006 then stored in my mothers until last month when this became no longer available. As I now have nowhere to store it correctly and I do not want to do the wine an injustice I feel I must now sell.
Now I understand that 48 bottles to sell in one go might be a step too far for some but I am willing to sell cases but would not really like to sell bottles alone unless I have to. The photos show cases and bottles in immaculate condition ( I opened one case of each sort very carefully to check)
I understand that 1994 is an excellent vintage and that both these wines are recommended for either keeping or drinking now.
At the moment they are situated near Banbury in Oxfordshire and at the same time as writing this post I am also looking at storage solutions for if they cannot be sold. Anyone interested please feel free to give advise or a price.

If you are looking for storage options places like Seckfords would be a good bet and charge about £10 a year per case.

I have sent you a PM if you are still interested in selling.
