Dow's 1975 Vintage Port for sale.

I was given an unboxed bottle of Dow's 1975 Vintage Port. I have no idea of how it has been stored. Me and my wife not a drinker of port.

Unfortunately 1975 was not a great vintage for port, although Dow is a good producer. You're unlikely to net more than £15-20 for a bottle of this sort.

If you want to sell you could approach your local auction house and see if they would sell it for you. Or, given the value, you could give it to a friend or relative for whom 1975 is a significant year.
Top Port in 2017 (so far): Graham Stone Terraces 2015 and Quinta do Vesuvio 1994
2016 Port of the year: Cockburn 1908
