Warre's Tercentenary 1970 Vintage Port for sale

Post by DominicLB »

Hi all

I am selling x6 bottles of Warre's Tercentenary 1970 Vintage Port.

I was gifted a couple of cases decades ago by my godfather and have decided to sell a half case worth of them (and currently drinking a bottle and holding onto the others for a few more years before opening).

Bottles have been stored in a private wine cellar in the countryside for the past 30 years, and have been in my drinks cabinet in London for the past month.

I am based in South West London, UK (near Richmond, Roehampton, Putney etc.).

Please see attached pictures and if you'd like a high res image of any bottle in particular please do message me. All seals are intact with some staining and a few small tears on some of the labels but otherwise bottles are fine.

Any questions and I shall do my best to answer.

All the best!

I'm probably interested. Could you indicate the fill levels in the bottles please? I assume you have read the "Standard advice on would-be vendors" and hence have an approximate price in mind?

I have sent you a PM

I didn't buy these. Dominic's suggested price of £80 per bottle was rather more than my estimate of fair value.

Yeah, according to wineseacher that's only very slightly below retail value in the UK. A private sale should be significantly lower than that.
