Will anyone make me an offer?

Port to sell? Excellent! Please post here, with details of what you have, how stored, and where in the world it is. Please start by reading our ‘Standard advice to would-be vendors' and ‘A note to wine merchants’.

I have the following port and am interested in selling it.

5 x 75cl bottles of 1994 Taylors Port

12 x 75cl bottles of 1994 Martinez Port

11 x 75cl bottles of 1994 Ramos Pinto Port

Anyone interested?

Welcome to :tpf:

Can you please tell us where you are, how long you have owned the bottles, how and where they have been stored and what condition they are in?

Thanks

Hi I am based in Ross-on-Wye but travel with work.

They were purchased in March 1994 a month after my daughters were born as an investment and I am now looking to sell them.

They have been stored in a wine cellar at the correct temperature so all is good :-)

They are in perfect condition as they literally have been in the cases since purchase, a couple of bottles have been drunk hence why I have only one full case.

Thanks

Phil

Thanks, Phil.

Presumably you bought them in 1996 or later as that is when they would have been released? In March 1994 the grapes hadn't appeared on the vines yet :-)

Sorry, yes, I am being stupid!! I am not an expert by any means as you can see !! I have had them since shortly after they were released for sale and were bought I believe through the wine society.

...and we can all just gloss over the little slip up about when your daughters were born

Back on topic - you have a very nice little collection of VP - hopefully someone here will be interested in making you an offer.
