Port for sale

Post by Nun(o\es) »

Hi everyone

I'm new here. My name is Nuno Nunes, and i'm from Portugal. I colect and sometimes sell Port and Portuguese table wine. I have a list of surpluses from my private collection of port, that im considering offers and to sell.
The bottles from mine collection have are being kept at a private cellar in the proper condictions, (bottles are kept lying in a controlled environment with a constant temperature,no light, no vibration, etc). They may have just a little bit of dust.

I've have photos of the bottles. I would be very happy to send these to anyone upon request.
The bottles are as follows:

Barros LBV 1981
Vinatge 1981 / 1985

Borges Colheita 1977
Vintage 1979 / 1994

Burmester LBV 1985
Vintage 1994 / 1995 / 1997

Constantino Superior Old

Ferreira Vintage 1985

Fonseca Vintage 1976 / 1980 / 1983 / 1985 / 1986 / 1992 / 1994 / 1997

Niepoort Vintage 1985 / 1987 / 1994 / 1997

Adriano Ramos Pinto - Nobreza

Real Companhia Velha Colheita 1960 / 1963 / 1973
Vintage 1960 / 1985

Real Vinícola LBV 1967
Vintage 1962

Taylor's - Atlantic Port

Warre's Grande Reserva 1965

I have between 2/5 bottles per item to dispense in this list.

Kind regards,

These are not valuable bottles. Why not drink them?

Hi "jdaw1"

Without doubt I drink a few from time to time. These are surpluses from my private collection of port.
I can not keep and maintain all port wine that I want :(

But not all are of low value:

Borges - Vintage 1994
Constantino Superior Old
Fonseca - Vintage 1976 / 1983 / 1985 / 1992 / 1994 / 1997
Niepoort - Vintage 1994
All RCV, Real Vinicola and the Warre's

All these bottles are worth a 3 digits number at any specialty stores. ( speaking euros )

But of course, i do not intend to sell at the retail price

Cheers

In Portugal maybe, but certainly not in the rest of the world, with the possible exception of Fonseca 1994.
I suspect you won't find many takers for your port on this forum, if you're keen on selling I suggest you try within Portugal, where people seem to be willing to pay more for these types of port. Good luck with you sale. :)
